OK--top one is sooc, bottom one is edited and saved the way you told me, Sammie.  I think that's better, don't you?  I can at least see a difference between the two!

OK--here are some pictures of the house now that it is complete.  

Clearly, the kitchen is lived in!  I took these after supper, but before we cleaned it up.
