Hurricane preparation, part 2

(I posted these the same size as I usually do, but if you click on them, it enlarges them, so you can see them better.)

They are revitalizing this part of town--and this house is under construction.

I took this one because they have duct tape on the windows, at least some of them.  However, it was flapping around in what little wind we had yesterday. Not sure how much help it will be in high winds.

Here's one of a little shop called Land of Oz.

As you can see, this one actually still has a tarp on it from Rita!

OK--this one has nothing to do with the hurricane, but the I found their color choices interesting.

This is a cafe that is actually no longer in business--in fact, now that I think about it, it may have never actually done business.  ???

This is an old building in downtown--not sure what it was, but it's protected.
